Band 9 IELTS Vocabulary about Clothes
Wardrobe– the clothes you have in your closet; the clothes you usually wear
My wardrobe consists mostly of shorts and t-shirts.
Business casual– semi-formal clothes, usually for work
Distressed jeans– jeans that are made to look old, often with holes in them
Relaxed-fit– comfortable, not ‘skinny’ jeans
A forgiving cut– clothes that aren’t too tight and don’t show your worst features, but highlight your best features
Fitted– clothes that closely fit your body
Cardigan– a button-up sweater
