IELTS Writing Question 1:

I have a doubt in the template given for the argument essay. Whenever I use the sentence, “Regarding those who feel… there are many reasons,” the grammar checker site always asks me to remove “regarding” as it is not required. Please help me to clear my doubt.

The reason this is flagged is not because it is grammatically incorrect, it is because the site, or word processing program, thinks it is too wordy.

It is not the simplest way to communicate the idea, and the checker is trying to make your communication clearer and efficient.

However, if you follow this suggestion, you will end up using simpler language that does not score as highly on IELTS.

You need to be aware of exactly what the examiner is looking for to give you high scores for your essays.

IELTS Writing Question 2:

In the IELTS questions, “do the benefits outweigh the problems or do the positive sides outweigh the negative sides,” should the they be responded with an opinion essay style or argumentative style?

IELTS Writing Question 3:

My friend took her IELTS exam a couple weeks ago, and she said in Writing Task 1 they presented 3 pie graphs. I would like to know the best approach for this.

If there are 2 diagrams, write one paragraph about the first chart and the other paragraph about the second one.

If there are 3, follow the same writing strategy. Write one paragraph about 2 graphs, and one paragraph about the third.
