This was inspired by a comment from a student, and we know that many students love learning through videos online.

Here was his comment:

Because I’m still practicing listening, to improve my skill more and more, I’d love to share and recommend that you subscribe to BBC Learning English channel on YouTube, to get more familiar with the British accent. And, they upload very useful videos, if you can arrange a few minutes besides the roadmap.

That’s a great recommendation!

It’s necessary to get used to the British accent, and, on the BBC Learning English channel, there are wide-ranging videos, from an interview with Winnie Mandela to targeted grammar videos.

Remember to turn on the subtitles if the accent is difficult at first.

Lindsay would also like students to check out Espresso English.

Video topics include 10 Expressions with the verb ‘to know’, and The difference between I’m afraid and I’m scared, and will be great for improving your overall English.
