She got 8 on Listening, 8.5 on Reading and Speaking and 7.5 on Writing! That’s higher than she even needed.
Now she can immigrate to Canada and follow her dreams.
This was the third time she’d taken the exam.
On the test she took right before our course, she got 7 in Reading and Speaking, 6.5 on Writing and 8 on Listening.
To increase her Listening score on her own, she took a lot of tests on YouTube.
To raise her Reading score by a whole band and a half, she followed the 3 Keys strategies.
These steps allow you to find the right answers using key words, so you don’t have to read the whole passage.
Isabella estimates that she did 5-8 Reading test practice tests after learning the strategies, and that was enough to help her feel confident on her exam.

Why did she succeed?
On her Speaking Exam, she focused on giving the examiner as many details as she could. And this led to an 8.5!
She also smiled a lot, made a joke or two, and exuded an air of calm confidence.
Now, for Writing, she broke through to a 7.5 by memorizing the essay templates in the course, focusing on the Argument essay.
In the Task 1 General Letter, about a picnic, she talked about many details as well- such as red balloons, buying food at Whole Foods, etc.
In her IELTS preparation, she found the 3 Keys study plans amazing, to help organize her time and make things simple and straight forward.
Isabella further advises all IELTS candidates to read the newspaper and listen to podcasts constantly and don’t give up! Work hard and you can do it!
