Keren took the exam a while ago, got the score she needed, and now is living in Massachusetts in the U.S.
She took IELTS
multiple times, both General and
Academic. Since she passed IELTS,

In order to get 7.5
on Speaking, up from 6 and 6.5 before, Keren says that she used Cambly to talk to natives, and she also
did volunteer work in Massachusetts in
order to speaking more English.
If you don’t have
the opportunity to talk to natives,
you have
to talk to yourself for at least 20 minutes a day.
As to Writing, Keren
thinks that the Writing
Task 1 vocabulary made most of the difference. Also, she read a lot of books.
Keren notes that she only had 20 minutes for Task 2 on exam day, because she spent too much time
on Task 1. However, she still got a 7!
She also increased
her Listening by half a band, and her Reading
went from a 5.5 to a 6.5.
In order to raise her Reading
score, she
read novels, and practiced the 3
Keys strategies a lot.
