He wanted to know his level of English.

He started his preparation a few months before the exam.

Don’t forget that prices on 3 Keys IELTS are increasing on October 14th. Go here to get into the system.

Andrey did the 60-day study plan in 3 Keys IELTS.

Even though Andrey only needed 4’s, he had never taken the test before.

What were Andrey’s scores?

9- Reading

7- Listening

7- Speaking

6.5- Writing

7.5- Overall

How did Andrey use the course?

Andrey checked the 3 Keys Facebook group every day.

He asked questions every day.

He answered other students’ questions.

He relied heavily on our community in the Facebook group.

Reading

He used our course and Cambridge IELTS practice tests.

When he started practicing his reading scores were around 7 or 7.5.

After he finished studying he was getting scores around 8 or 8.5.

When it comes to reading you must have strategies. You need strategies that are specific to each question type including Matching Headings and Yes/No/Not Given.

Andrey completed around 15 practice reading tests.

That is the level of preparation that you need to score high on IELTS.

He also used assignments in our study plan with newspapers and magazines.

He never imagined that he’d be able to use a resource like that to prepare for IELTS.

You need a flexible study plan when you start your preparation. IELTS takes a lot of time and you don’t want to waste that time trying to find resources. Instead, a study plan can give you the resources.

Speaking

Speaking Part 2 was the most challenging part for Andrey.

It was hard because he had to speak for two minutes straight.

You have to prepare for this part of the Speaking test.

Andrey used the Internet to find real speaking tests from previous years.

For every test he used his phone and recorded his answers while he tried to speak for at least two minutes.

At first it was hard because he tried to answer the question directly.

Later he learned our strategies and was able to do it correctly for a high score.
