to be super into– “Super” is a very trendy adverb to use these days for native speakers, and “to be into” means you like something.
For example, you can say, “I’ve been super into this show Goliath, and I’ve been binging it for 3 days.”
It’s also used to describe a phase you’re going through, like, “Right now, I’m super into watching documentaries.”
to be a big fan of– This is the same as “being into” something. It’s usually used to describe long-time loves.
It’s also used for dislikes very often, like, “I’m not a big fan of peas, so I’m going to pass on that salad, but thank you.”
to be hooked on– This is synonymous for addiction, in the literal sense, but today we use it in the figurative sense as a slang phrase.
For instance, you can say, “I’m hooked on kambucha right now. I drink it morning, noon and night.”
