Task Response: IELTS Task 2

  • All parts of the question (all key ideas) must be addressed in your essay in a balanced way.
  • You must support your ideas with clear, specific details and examples.
  • The examiner must be able to clearly identify your opinion on the topic.
  • All of your ideas must clearly connect to the test question. Don’t wander off topic!
  • Don’t copy the test question.

 

More words is not always better! Limit yourself to writing 150-180 words in Task 1, and 250-280 in Task 2.
