Today I’ll share my favorite resources for IELTS drama questions in Speaking Part 1 and Part 2.
On the IELTS Speaking test, you may be asked to discuss a drama series you know of.
Hopefully, you can describe one you’ve watched in English, and not one that every other IELTS candidate is choosing.
Firstly, I’ve noticed some vocabulary mix-ups regarding the word ‘drama’. A drama is a serious story, in contrast to a comedy, which is funny.
A series is a TV show (online as well), usually with at least 6 episodes in a season. A movie, on the other hand, is a self-contained story, seen in a cinema, between an hour and a half and two hours long.
There is also a genre called ‘dramedy’, which is a mix of drama and comedy elements.
