Today you’ll learn how to handle your time if you have 1 year before IELTS.

First of all, if you have a full year before you’ll take the IELTS Exam, don’t start studying the test yet!

I’ve seen it happen time and again, when people study too long for the test. They lose motivation, eventually hit a plateau, and then their scores actually start going down.

Months 1-6

Improve your overall English, in all four areas.

For reading, consume books, newspapers, and comics.

For listening, explore podcasts made for native speakers, and watch movies and TV shows that you really enjoy.

To develop writing skills, keep a journal.

Regarding speaking, find some speaking partners in Facebook groups. Other students are fine.
