"The English Adventurer"

Do you often hear people talking about movies or music?

Do you want to be part of these conversations in English?

Do you sometimes feel unsure of what to say?

We’re going to introduce you to a few new vocabulary words you can use that will help you to make connections in everyday conversations.

Learning Outside The Textbook and Focusing On Conversations

It’s great to have a way to talk about things like movies the way that natives do.

It’s about knowing what to say and the words that will help you to connect to natives.

This takes you beyond just a textbook or a classroom, and instead takes you out into real life experiences.

It’s the philosophy of “Connection Not Perfection” that helps you to make these conversations about things in pop culture and everyday life.

This Movie and This Band Reaches So Many People

The movie “Bohemian Rhapsody” shows that taking chances can really pay off.

The band Queen wasn’t afraid to put themselves out there and it paid off.

You still hear their music everywhere today–it gets you going and it is huge in sports.

People listen to their music because it gets them pumped up and energetic, and athletes and people everywhere want that feeling.

They also wanted to include the audience and resonate with them, and they did that.
