Speaking: Find your voice and confidence
Every morning, talk out loud in English. State a goal you will accomplish that day.
For example, making your lunch at home or talking to a co-worker.
At the end of the day, talk out loud about one positive thing that you did, saw or experienced that day.
Writing: Develop fluency
We’ve spoken before about journaling, and using the site creative writing prompts.
Go to a public place to people watch, like a coffee shop.
Choose one person to write about, imagining their life.
What is their name? What are they wearing? What’s their job? What do they do in their free time? What are they afraid of doing?
Listening: Binge a series
Find a day or two when you can binge a series, watching 2-3 episodes a day.

After binging, choose one of the actors or directors. Go onto imdb.com and research this person, finding other projects they did to dig into.
Reading: Find a novel
Recently, I wrote a blog post about using the site goodreads.com to find a book you’ll love.
Think of a book you really liked. Search for this title on the site, and it will recommend similar books.
Reading is one of the most vital activities to improve your IELTS scores!
