Today you’ll meet Siva and learn how to be a writing superstar.
He won this month’s writing contest, and wants to immigrate to Canada.
Siva had his wife proofread his essay.
Before 3 Keys IELTS, his wife struggled to understand what he wanted to say. However, now, she says it’s very clear.
In part, the prior difficulty was due to not brainstorming before he wrote.
Siva notes that before our course he spent a long time on the introduction and conclusion paragraphs, but, now, the 3 Keys’ templates have made these simple and quick.

This month’s Task 2 question was:
The willingness to take risks is the only way one can succeed in life, both personally and professionally.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Excellent excerpt from Siva’s essay:
Paragraph 2:
A more specific illustration would be the manifestation of the 2008 financial crisis…
Paragraph 3:
The shining examples of this would be the Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg.
Siva got these ideas from reading newspapers and watching movies, like the Social Network and The Big Short.
He also had amazing vocabulary, using the vocabulary notebook as we instruct to do in 3 Keys IELTS.
He goes through his lists before he writes his essay and chooses the words he wants to use.
Vocabulary and ideas for him come from varied books, such as those by Chris Gethard, Amy Poehler, and Tina Fey.
