Firstly, you need to do some work yourself on this, as celebrations are a very cultural experience.
Think of 2 traditional celebrations in your country, that have events attached to them. Write about them in your first language, describing the clothes, food, how it looks and activities.
Then, translate this into English, learning how to translate the very specific vocabulary.

Anniversary– the day you celebrate a specific event from the past, such as a wedding anniversary
Sharp / smart– adjectives to describe ‘fancy’, or dressed-up, appearance

Elated / ecstatic– adjectives for feeling super happy
On cloud nine– idiom for feeling super happy
Jubilant– adjective for very happy and energetic, for feelings or atmosphere
Captivating– adjective for situation or appearance that holds all of your attention because it’s so fabulous
Intoxicated– drunk
Buzzed / tipsy– adjectives to describe how one feels after a couple alcoholic drinks, when you’re not yet drunk
Choose 2-3 of today’s words or phrases and use them to describe the last time you were at a celebration for an event.
