Today you’ll learn informal and formal phrases to conclude IELTS Speaking and Writing answers.
In order to have organized answers in Speaking and Writing, we must conclude our answers.
However, this is mostly used in the more formal parts of the exam, namely Speaking Part 3 and Writing Task 2.
Having said that, if you find yourself wandering off topic or repeating yourself in IELTS Speaking Parts 1 or 2, you can use some informal phrases in the video to help you finish your answer in a coherent way.
Watch the video a few times, and practice the phrases. Try to copy the way I say them, and then try using them in your own Speaking answers.

Of course, where we really need conclusion phrases is in our organized, more academic responses.
First tip here- do not use “in conclusion”, as this is boring and every student uses this!
