#1: Catchy jingle

A jingle is the song that is in all the ads for a certain product, brand or service.

The adjective “catchy” means memorable.

These short musical snippets stick in your head!

If you are asked about an advertisement, share that you like the catchy jingle.

  • “I actually love an ad I see often for a law firm – it has such a catchy jingle!”

This means you feel that you are seeing too many ads.

This is perfect if you’re asked about social media or the internet.

  • “My newsfeed is drowning in ads lately.”

This just means you think there are too many ads.

This means the people an advert is aimed at.

For example, for baby product advertisements, the target market is new parents.

You may need to get creative when describing advertisements.
