#1: Despondent
This means in low spirits from loss of hope or courage.
This means extremely disappointed.
You can use it to exaggerate.
Speaking Part 3: Do you think people are active enough?
“I don’t mean to be despondent, but no, not at all.”
#2: Devastated
Devastated is also a very extreme emotions.
It means extremely shocked and upset.
Speaking Part 1: What is your job?
“I was devastated after graduating when I filled out a million applications and didn’t hear back from anyone!”

#3: Disheartened
This means one has lost determination or confidence.
Speaking Part 2: Describe a time when you were disappointed.
“Well, honestly, this is huge, and it’s a bit more than disappointed, but when I was 26 years old I found out I had Type 1 diabetes. I was disheartened, to say the least. It was devastating. I had to change my whole life.”
#4: Appalled
A person who is appalled is shocked and disappointed.
It often happens suddenly.
Speaking Part 1: What do you do for holidays?
“For Halloween, we always plan… I was frankly appalled this year by a couple of costumes worn by neighbors that were trying to make a political statement.”
