The issue of Native Americans and how their cultures interact with the mainstream American culture is a topic that you should be prepared to discuss with native speakers if you are living or traveling in the United States.
During my trip around the United States I stopped in Gallup, New Mexico to chat with Virgil.
Virgil is a native of the Navajo tribe.
I asked him a lot of questions about his life on and off the reservation.
I also learned more about the ways in which Native Americans are treated by the government.
My conversation was enlightening and we have recorded the conversation on video. It will be in our course which will be released very soon.
