Take a crack at
Use this if the Examiner asks you about something new you want to try in the future.
I want to take a crack at cycling.
It means you haven’t tried this before.
You don’t know how well you’ll do, but you’re going to try.
- give it your all: maximum effort given to something
Call it quits
This is another way of saying you want to stop doing something.
I tried cycling and didn’t love it, so I decided to call it quits.
“To stop” is very common and overused.
Instead, use an interesting idiom like “call it quits.”
This will impress the Examiner and raise your vocabulary score.
