Do I always have to talk about both sides in a Task 2 essay?

Usually, yes!

If the topic asks you to discuss both sides, you must do so in order to get a 7+ on the Task Response score.

They may ask you to discuss the following:

  • Advantages and disadvantages
  • Problems and solutions
  • Causes and effects

One way to do this is with a concession!
