Tips to understand the Task 2 question
You must focus on the question.
Read it carefully a couple of times to make sure you understand.
As you brainstorm, look back at the question to make sure your reasons are supporting the topic.
While writing, check back at the prompt to make sure you’re staying on topic.
Immerse yourself in English
This takes a lot of effort!
You have to carve out time during your day.
While eating breakfast, listen to a podcast made for native speakers.
When you come across a new word, look it up in the dictionary.
The key is to use it that same day.
Writing process changes
After studying with 3 Keys IELTS, he realized the importance of checking his essays after writing them.
Lado has always struggled with spelling.
He has realized he needs to spend more time proofreading.
He has good ideas and high level vocabulary, but has difficulty checking.
While you’re writing, don’t worry about spelling.
Focus on getting ideas out and using transition phrases.
If you have spelling challenges, plan on closer to 8 minutes for proofreading.
