how to learn in creative mode English

Do you feel like you live your life in fear often?

Do you consider yourself to be creative?

When it comes to learning to speak English, do you let yourself enjoy the process and get creative?

If you haven’t thought about these things, it can make a big difference.

We’re going to take a look at what survival mode and creative mode are, and how and why they both matter.

Two Important Ways of Thinking

There are two modes of the brain: creative mode and survival mode.

How do these two ways of thinking affect your life?

How do they affect your way of learning English?

Creative mode is connection, and survival mode is perfection.

When there is an intense activity such as Urban Adventures, you lose track of time.

You are creating a new part of yourself and that’s all that you are focusing on.

You aren’t thinking of time and space, or even worry or fear.

When you are in creative mode, such as learning English, you aren’t really focused on the survival aspects.

How Do You Use These Modes To Improve?

How do we live a better life?

If you are trying to improve anything in your life, then this is where creative mode comes in.

You are trying to change the things going on in your head and work past any fear.

We are all getting to a point where we can live in creative mode if we let ourselves.

Our brains can’t always adapt as fast as our environment that we’ve created, so it takes time.

Survival mode in the brain can take over at anytime–but we can try to control it and live in creative mode.

It’s very difficult to try to control this survival part of the brain, but it’s so worth it.

Learning English or Anything Can and Should Be Fun

We reteach our mind to say that learning English doesn’t have to be about survival.

Remember it’s about connection, not perfection.

If you can get yourself to a point where you can accept that you will make mistakes, then you will work through the survival mode.

Both modes have a place, but when it comes to learning English or anything, you have to allow yourself to get to creative mode.

Creative Mode Is Essential and Achievable

So how do you get to creative mode?

You recognize the need for it in learning English, but you may not feel sure of how to let yourself get there.

Here are some great ways to get your mind into creative mode so you can learn and enjoy the process.

  • Examine your thoughts to determine which mode you are currently living within
  • Slow down and consider how you can work through the fear and get to a better mode and way of thinking
  • Putting yourself in new situations
  • Talk to natives and get outside of your comfort zone
  • Reteach yourself the way that you think of or view these situations
  • Use situations and environments such as the Urban Adventure to work at creative mode and make connections

You improve your language, but you also change the way that you think and view these situations.

You get to a point where you live a better life that is more enjoyable.

Takeaway

Improving yourself is worthwhile, and that’s all part of living a better life.

If you want to learn how to speak English or do anything better, you have to let yourself get to creative mode.

You have to work past the fear and allow yourself to make mistakes so that you learn.

Remember that it’s about connection, and when you get to that then you are living in creative mode.

It’s these connections and this way of thinking that will help you to learn English more quickly and to live a better life.
