We are looking for a former IELTS Examiner to grade IELTS exercises and practice tests in our 3 Keys IELTS online course. The job is fully remote, you can work from anywhere, and work time is flexible.
All Ears English is an online education media company and language school. We teach Business English, General Fluency, and IELTS to global adult learners. We also publish three popular podcasts, the main show being All Ears English, downloaded 8 million times per month.
We are a remote team of energetic content creators and ESL teachers. We work hard and we love what we do.
TASKS
You will be responsible for grading IELTS exercises. You will assign scores to IELTS Writing and Speaking course tasks and send these scores and feedback to students, using our pre-written feedback templates. Some responses will be written. Others will be spoken via video.
This position currently has a narrow scope of tasks but there is potential to expand into other tasks in the future such as teaching, podcasting, course design, etc. as an hourly position within All Ears English. However, this is not required or guaranteed.
LOCATION
- Work is remote, online
- Work can be completed from anywhere (high-speed internet required for video work)
SCHEDULE
You can choose to work on M, T, Th, Fri, Sat, or Sunday and that will become your regular day every week. The amount of work you have will depend on student needs. You can work anytime you want on your designated workday. We anticipate 1-2 hours of work per week, but this could increase or decrease, depending on the week.
PAY
- 1099 independent contractor, taxes are your responsibility
- You get paid per graded exercises
- Pay rate is competitive with or better than pay rates for Examiners at IELTS Exam centers
REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year of experience as an Examiner at a registered test center
- Need acceptable quality video/audio
- Need a clean background for videos
